The mission of the Entrepreneurship Advancement Center is critically important to the future of the Indiana economy. EAC not only supports entrepreneurship, it inspires young people to embrace innovation, risk taking, and critical thinking. EAC is a model that should be replicated in every corner of the state.

Inside Indiana Business with Gerry Dick
EAC is developing partnerships with the business community to help us significantly advance key projects. We invite you to consider one of our partnership opportunities.
Partnership Benefits
EAC can offer our partners a variety of benefits and seeks to work with each partner to develop a benefit package that matches the partners interests and partnership level. Benefits include naming rights, partner exclusivity, board seat, blog postings, program involvement, online advertising, and onsite signage just to name a few.
We appreciate your consideration of these three projects.
Project 1: Youth Entrepreneurship
Goal: Develop high school students innovation and entrepreneurial thinking
The broad goal of this project is to develop high school students’ innovation and entrepreneurial thinking by expanding the activities offered and by increasing the number of students involved in activities. EAC has developed youth programs that are well respected and have had great success with high school students in Hamilton County. Partner funding will be used to implement an entrepreneurship website for teens and supporting programs that develop entrepreneurial thinking.
Project 2: Fostering Entrepreneurial Businesses
Goal: Expand the community business plan competition
EAC has held three successful community business plan competitions with winners receiving consulting packages to start their businesses. In 2013 the competition will be expanded to increase the number of entrepreneurs participating and to enhance the support of entrepreneurs in the competition. Partner funding will be used to provide materials to participating businesses and to provide a cash prize to the winning business.
Project 3: Celebration of Entrepreneurship
Goal: Provide an education and awards program for entrepreneurs
EAC held an Entrepreneurship Celebration Awards event in 2011 with great success. Businesses are recognized in three categories: emerging, established, and mature business. The purposes of the Entrepreneurship Celebration are:
- Provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs in all stages of business to network
- Provide a learning opportunity for entrepreneurs in all stages of business
- Recognize the impacts of successful entrepreneurs
Partner funding will be used to sponsor the awards and the conference key note speaker and to reduce conference expenses passed on to attendees.
